Thinking this over some more, I realize I should also rise to the challenge and write a poem daily (for bit)! Why be a lazy bystander for this bold idea?
I am going to try this. My caveat, and you know this about me, my dear, is that I write more lyrics than poems... they need music and a hearty baritone to lift them off the page.

Just write a concentrated lyric per day. Who cares the form? It's the intent to create that matters.
