This week, I invite you to join me by writing a small poem a day. They can follow any pattern or form you want, but they should not exceed five lines.
Practice your craft, even in the small pockets of time you have in this season.
Summer is a busy one for parents and it can feel very difficult to find the space and solitude to create.
So in this small way, you can hold onto your art.

Thinking this over some more, I realize I should also rise to the challenge and write a poem daily (for bit)! Why be a lazy bystander for this bold idea?
I am going to try this. My caveat, and you know this about me, my dear, is that I write more lyrics than poems... they need music and a hearty baritone to lift them off the page.
